Like a balloon

Don’t you just hate it when someone leaves? When someone leaves without a notice? Someone who will just simply walk away without any word.

Like a balloon, you’ll never know when will it go off. You can watch it travel through the air, you can watch it go through different places. But you can’t keep an eye on it all the time, cause eventually you’ll lose sight of it. As it goes by, it slowly disappears. You can’t stop it from flying cause you have already set it free. But the question is, did you really let go of it intentionally, or it slipped off accidentally?

You can never stop a balloon from going anywhere. All you can do is watch it fly and hope that it’ll go to a good place. Just like watching someone else leave. You can’t stop them cause that’s what they opted to do. And you can’t just simply ask them to stay because if they want to, they never would have even thought of leaving in the first place.
